Can't read 20 cabinet presets from TONEX ONE with ESP32-S3-Zero

Environment

• Hardware: ESP32-S3-ZERO (No screen, all operations via tonex.local web interface)
• Firmware version: TonexController_V2.0.2.2_Waveshare_Zero / V2.0.3.2_beta_2_Waveshare_Zero (both tested)
• TONEX Device: TONEX ONE

Problem Description

After connecting my mobile device to the ESP32's WiFi (TonexConfig) and accessing tonex.local:

1. Working functions:
   • M-VAVE chocolate plus pedal feedback (on/off effects) is normal
   • Other basic functions (WiFi connection, pedal control) work fine
2. Issue:
   • Cannot read the 20 cabinet presets from TONEX ONE (presets are not displayed in config -> presets map on the tonex.local web interface)
   • I have tried:
     • Re-flashing both firmware versions with "Erase All Flash" enabled
     • Clearing TONEX ONE presets and re-syncing
     • Reconnecting USB between ESP32 and TONEX ONE

Could you help identify the root cause of the preset reading failure? And provide specific solutions (e.g., firmware modification, configuration adjustment, hardware check)?

Hi. Is your Tonex pedal firmware up to date?
There are some older versions that became incompatible when IK Multimedia made changes.
The last few versions of Tonex firmware all work fine with the last 2 of my releases, but if much older then you could have this issue.

Also make sure your USB-C cable is one that supports data transfer. Some of them are charge only and will power the Tonex but won't let it communicate.

Hi,
IK Multimedia recently released a new firmware update for the Tonex one, along with a Tonex software update. Perhaps there's a compatibility issue between this new firmware and Tonex controller versions 2.0.2.2 and 2.0.3.2b1?

I updated my Tonex pedals with the release that came out about 3 weeks ago. It works fine with the controller.
Was there another update after this?

I'm afraid I don't know how long the new update has been rolled out. My Tonex One did get an update from firmware version 1.3.15 to firmware version 1.3.16 last week.
