Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

We as members, contributors, and maintainers pledge to make participation in IEEE CS projects a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We are committed to fostering an open, welcoming, and respectful environment.


Expected Behavior

Participants are expected to:

  • Use welcoming and inclusive language
  • Be respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Accept constructive feedback gracefully
  • Focus on what is best for the community
  • Show empathy toward other members

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are not tolerated:

  • Harassment or discrimination in any form
  • Derogatory or offensive comments
  • Personal attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing private information without consent

Enforcement

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing this Code of Conduct. They may take appropriate action in response to unacceptable behavior, including temporary or permanent removal from participation in IEEE CS projects.


Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within project spaces and in public spaces when an individual is representing IEEE CS or its projects.


Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it to the project maintainers or IEEE CS leadership.
