🤝 Contributing to DevStash

First of all, thank you for your interest in contributing to DevStash! 🙌
This project is built by developers, for developers, and every quality resource makes it better.

📌 How to Contribute a Resource

1️⃣ Navigate to the relevant technology page

Go to the page of the technology you want to contribute to.
For example, if you’re adding a JavaScript Docs resource, scroll to the JavaScript section.

2️⃣ Click the "Contribute" button

This will open the contribution form.

3️⃣ Fill in the contribution form

Please provide the following details:

  • Resource Type → Choose between Docs or YouTube
  • Resource Title → Clear and descriptive title
  • Resource Link → Valid URL (ensure it’s not already added ✅)
  • Short Description → Brief summary of what the resource offers
  • Tags → Add 2–4 tags, comma-separated (e.g. javascript, docs)

ℹ️ A default contributed tag is automatically added.

4️⃣ Submit 🚀

Click Submit, and your resource will instantly be available on DevStash for everyone to explore! 🎉

✅ Contribution Guidelines

To keep DevStash high-quality and useful, please ensure:

  • The resource is relevant, accurate, and helpful
  • No duplicate resources are submitted
  • Titles and descriptions are clear and concise
  • Tags are meaningful and searchable
