[FEATURE] Make list not intuitive

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Pressing Tab to actually go to the board that allow you to do the other operations, such as as create or edit a cron is not intuitive and confusing, when you open the app you need to figure out how to go edit or create a new tab.

Describe the solution you'd like
Perhaps we make the tab key switch between Panels, and let the list focused by default all the time. Instead of allowing to focus on the panels. Just leave the panels never being able to get the focus.

Thanks for writing this issue. I can understand it can be a little bit confusing. I will take a look into this answer maybe do what you are suggesting.

This is related with how Textual works but I assume this is possible to override.

Hi again!

I’ve looked into this, and it would require restructuring how Cronboard works. This is mainly due to how the modals function, where the Tab key is also used to switch between fields.

Do you want to look into it yourself @anderson-comvex?

If not, I will check it out one day, but I will not prioritize it at the moment.

I’ve been thinking about this enhancement and there’s a potential UX issue.

If we use Tab exclusively for switching between tabs and automatically move focus after switching, it could conflict with existing navigation. In the Servers tab, we currently rely on Tab to move focus between different areas (e.g., the tab header, sidebar tree, and main content).

If Tab is repurposed only for switching tabs, it becomes unclear how users would move focus between the sidebar and content area within the Servers tab. While we could introduce another shortcut for that, it might add confusion and make navigation less intuitive.

Do you have any ideas on how we could balance these behaviors without making the UX more complicated?

Yeah I agree. We could implement jump mode as Posting has.

I am not sure if it is worth it tho since Cronboard do not have so many areas to change the focus on, but it would add another way to jump around the app.
