Steps to reproduce

Just install, tried on 3 different proxmox hosts.

Error output

Maybe updating the pnpm install lines to pnpm install --dangerously-allow-all-builds would be enough?

Locally it worked outside the script yesterday to me 🤔, but I did a different change here (#14315) because that's what I saw in an old solved PR with the same issue, so I assumed that was the most correct way for a script.

we can force pnpm9 but its not really nice..

Yeah..., I mean, you can always consider switching to bun, should be pretty straightforward. (or just npm?)

I still think adding that flag to the scripts should be enough for it to work though?

I can open a PR with that change if you want.

This is not a Homepage bug. The installer script is installing pnpm@latest and running pnpm install unattended, so it needs to handle pnpm’s current build-script approval behavior. Homepage already declares allowed build dependencies in package.json; we should not change Homepage CI/tooling for a downstream Proxmox installer.

Removed = Deleted? I’ve never read anything like this before, nor have I ever dealt with anything like it. It’s more than a bit dodgy and dodgy. But nothing you do surprises me anyway; you’ve always been aggressively against everything. No problem. I don’t need the tool.
