Millenium MPS 850

Hi there,
I won't have much time to work on for now, but my project is to use edrumulus with a Millenium MPS850.

I'm gonna report here what I find, and will probably need some help 🙂

Set configuration :

Hi-Hat controller (v1)

9V powered controller, it directly outputs a signal between 0 and 3.3V.

3x 10" + 2x 08" Two-zone mesh head pad (tom & snare )

From what I understand from #80 , centered piezo should allow positional sensing.

1x 08" Mesh head bass drum pad

3x 12" Two-zone crash cymbal & Hi-hat pads with stop function

1x 12" Three-zone ride cymbal pad with stop function

Getting algorithms parameters

Based on doc :

• I've recorded stereo signals coming from pads and cymbals to soundcard, and uploaded them in my fork.

• Install Octave and signal package, on Debian based distro : sudo apt-get install octave-signal

• Launch Octave and open signalsandsettings.m, create a new config mps850_snare with default settings, and analyze recording x = audioread("signals/mps850_meshpad_10.wav");padtype='mps850_snare';, then press F5 to test it.

Now I need to understand how to tune parameters...
