In the discussion on #386, a maintainer noted that Codex did not support a plugin / marketplace model comparable to the one this repository already uses for other clients.
That was a reasonable conclusion at the time. Codex now has an official plugin system.
Relevant docs:
Problem
dotnet/skills already organizes its content into plugin bundles. When #386 was discussed, Codex did not yet have a comparable plugin / marketplace flow, so it made sense for Codex support here to focus on individual skill installation.
Requested outcome
Please consider adding official Codex plugin support for this repository's existing plugin bundles, together with the corresponding README/documentation updates for Codex users.
Example
On my local machine, I was able to set up the current dotnet/skills plugin bundles as a Codex-compatible local marketplace and then install and use them successfully in Codex.
