When to use Discussions vs Issues

• Use Discussions to:

  • Ask questions about the ELCL syntax, semantics, or behavior.
  • Share ideas or proposals for new features or changes.
  • Explore edge cases, design decisions, or implementation strategies.

• Use Issues to:

  • Report clear problems in the current specification (e.g., broken grammar, contradictions, typos, or missing definitions).

This separation helps keep the Issues tracker focused and actionable, and makes it easier to track exploratory conversations.
