• Yes, I have checked and my issue is not related to the game updating and plugins not working correctly.

What did you do?

I have been struggling to launch the game through XIV launcher due to a fatal error (Code 0xC0000005) for roughly two weeks at this time. I have updated both the Dalamud and Official launcher, repaired game files, permitted both programs through firewalls, and have been turning my computer on and off again every day to no success or difference.

What graphics card and driver version do you have?

Are you currently on Windows 11 25H2? If so, you may want to check if Smart App Control is turned on, as that causes a variety of issues. Microsoft has been forcing it back on, even for users who turned it off previously.

Unless the system is outright lying to me, Smart App Control is turned off.

As for drivers and graphics, I'm using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 with the Game Ready Driver v.582.28

Rolling back the driver allowed the program to work! Thank you so much, I had never realized that the driver itself may have been causing the issue!
