Plugin Description
Added in 7.4, the new Command Panel offers a 100 new buttons!
It's the perfect place to store stuff such as Emotes or misc. items or commands that doesn't fit in the regular UI. But with it being so new, nobody has made a plugin that can customise it for better convenience.
Personally, I think the most widely beneficial way that'd be immediately useful for everyone would be an option to customise the look and spread of the buttons. ie. simply making the background & border completely transparent, such that it's simply a 5x5 set of buttons with pages at the top.
The next step, severely more complex but extremely beneficial, would be making elements of the buttons that you can set wherever you want.
Ie. 24 buttons in 12x2 rows (first 24 buttons), then 5 buttons (last button on page 1, then first 4 buttons on page 2) and so on.
That alone would be extremely beneficial from everyone, while having a ton of potential for further development: ie. reserving some buttons for specific features.
Another suggestion I've seen come up, has been a pseudo-menu of buttons:
ie. You click one button, and it opens a set of buttons next to it, giving a sort of "opening a menu"-effect. People have made complex macros to do this, but a dedicated plugin that uses the command panel would save a ton of space and be a very unique feature.
tl;dr
- Allow visual customisation of the command panel, hide border+background/make it follow the penumbra-style etc.
- Allow creation of extra bars/buttons that take advantage of the command panel
- Add more complex/unique features for extra development if wanted
