File name and path in Task creation/editing modal

• My request is about the Tasks plugin for Obsidian.
• I am only requesting a single feature in the Tasks plugin. Multiple changes should be split into individual requests, with links between them.
• I believe my requested feature will be generally applicable to other Tasks plugin users, not just me: it is not uniquely tied to my personal workflow.

🔖 Feature description

It would be very helpful to have a clickable file path & file name in the Task Create/Edit modal because if I open a task that appears in a calendar (like Full Calendar Remastered) I don't see where the task is coming from

at the bottom of the modal file path and file name (perhaps this is an option that can be set in the plugin settings), clicking on this line opens up the page and location of the task

I think that this is a new request.

Can you please flesh it out a bit more - I don't quite understand.

From the Tasks search results, you can use the backlink to navigate to the task.

But let's suppose that this feature existed.

1. You open the modal
2. You make some changes in the modal
3. You click on a button that navigates you to the location of the file

Only you didn't click OK, so your edits haven't been saved. Meaning that this is rather circuitous alternative to clicking on the Backlink.

I suspect I'm missing something from your idea, so please try adding some more detail.

Thank you for looking at the FR below is an image of the task modal with clickable file path, clicking on the file path opens the source file in the background--if possible putting the cursor on the task itself
