What is CAJAL?

CAJAL is not a general-purpose chat model. It is a specialized scientific paper generation tool — local, 2GB, producing LaTeX-formatted academic output.

Why Open Interpreter?

Open Interpreter executes code locally. CAJAL adds scientific writing capability to its local execution:

• "Write a paper on X" → generates LaTeX + compiles PDF
• "Search arXiv for Y, summarize, add to references" → research loop
• Full local automation: research → write → format → export
