Privacy Policy

SpecOps is an open-source, locally-run development workflow tool. Your privacy is straightforward:

No Data Collection

  • SpecOps does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data
  • SpecOps does not include telemetry, analytics, or tracking of any kind
  • SpecOps does not make external API calls or network requests

Local-Only Processing

All processing happens entirely on your local machine within your AI coding assistant (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Codex). Spec files (requirements, design docs, task lists) are created in your project directory and remain under your full control.

Third-Party Services

SpecOps itself does not interact with any third-party services. It runs as a skill/plugin within your chosen AI coding assistant, which has its own privacy policy.
