Should not have to install Google™ Chrome to run this

Currently in order to get this working in a fork like ungoogled chromium, brave, etc. it has to be installed on the Google chrome fork too.

Can this be fixed?

How did you arrive at this conclusion?

Sometimes forks require (note: THEY require, not Yomitan API) that nativemessaging data be stored in chrome or chromium's path's rather than their own. But that shouldn't mean you need to actually install google chrome.
