Create modern documentation site

Hello, I see you like Notion, it is very good tool, but it is also not giving a chance to save your notion.site, duplicate it, somehow save it offline. See I know we live in 2025, but you are grown man, not some zoomer, please don't do notion sites. Give as pdf manual of your wonderful product, we need offline document. Thank you.

Good point about downloading. I wish that Notion supported external collaborators without charging money per-user, since it's a great way of putting content online instantly and from wherever. There are limitations though; the biggest is that only I can edit the docs or download them.

I've looked into Docusaurus and static site generators previously. These would probably work well since the entire document source would work as Markdown files and it looks like there are ways to generate PDFs from it. Moving the existing documentation may take some time, mostly because the examples are out of date. The bundled configuration file example and Update Notes are where most examples live these days.

When the (currently in development) scheduler program is released I'll need to create a new manual for that too and probably some video tutorials.

Let me look around and see what type of solution I can come up with!

I've been working on this today and have come up with a solution. It's pretty barebones right now but I've got a Starlight-powered doc site live here: https://docs.tvs.gcpw.art/

I've automated PDF generation whenever I publish a new version too, linked from the homepage. The docs are empty at this point but I'll add them here as I port everything over. Will keep this issue open while I port the existing documentation and write / rewrite it.
