Galzi1/README.md

Software Engineer by trade, now leading the transition to the next era of development. After shipping features for petabyte-scale platforms at Salesforce and Own, I am the AI R&D Transformation Lead at Commit AI. I focus on rethinking the software development lifecycle through AI-native engineering, moving from manual implementation to agentic delegation within a structured and scalable Agentic SDLC.

At Commit AI, I guide organizations through the journey from Agentic Augmentation to Agentic Automation, where AI agents execute defined tasks across the lifecycle.

Current focus areas:

  • AI-Native Engineering: Moving teams beyond basic completion toward treating agents like Cursor and Claude Code as core stack components. I map the path to full agentic delegation, ensuring the transition is driven by technical logic rather than hype.
  • Scaling Transformation: Helping organizations move from fragmented AI usage to a unified model. This includes defining KPIs for AI-driven productivity, conducting R&D assessments, and evaluating tradeoffs between LLM providers to deliver measurable business impact.
  • Technical Enablement: Translating AI capabilities into grounded workflows for senior engineers. I build the workshops and playbooks that turn technical releases into repeatable practices that teams can actually ship with.

To maintain credibility, I keep a strong hands-on focus. By developing tools like github-pr-kb and custom AI-driven CLIs, I test the limits of agentic capability in real-world repositories. This practitioner-first approach ensures my strategies are rooted in the reality of the terminal.

My foundation includes a B.Sc. in Computer Science and an M.Sc. in Big Data. This background, combined with years of managing distributed systems at Cato Networks and the Ministry of Defense, allows me to evaluate AI performance in environments where reliability is non-negotiable.

If you are building AI-native teams or rethinking the SDLC through agentic workflows, I would love to exchange insights on the tradeoffs of this new frontier.
