Quick Overview (any files not listed are not for editing)

The main hub of the presentation is index.html. This includes click to enlarge sections and links to slide decks and demos.

• index.html = Main interactive hub (edit directly for text/links)
• narrative.md = Narrative/script for presentation with timing. This an .md file for version control.
• slides.qmd = Slide deck for after expertise section before demos and conclusion after demos. This must be rendered to html in Rstudio.
• slide_figures = Put figures for slides here. Reference in .qmd like .

Updating Slides

1. Edit slides.qmd in Rstudio or similar.
2. Render slides.qmd in Rstudio to preview the html; slides.html should be in your .gitignore. slides.html should not be pushed
3. Commit and push your changes. Github Actions will automatically render the .qmd to a hidden .html.

Collaboration

️ Coordinate changes to avoid conflicts - especially with the main index.html

Pull before making changes: git pull origin main

Changes go live automatically when pushed to main.
