Proposed Flow Workflow enhancements delivered as part of #7488
- Optimistic locking on entity workflow state updates.
- Proposals to/from external actors will now be automatically approved.
- Explicit storage of logical_flow_id, physical_flow_id and specification_id in proposed_flow table. They were stored in flow_Def previously which made SQL select queries bit tricky and c ouldn't take advantage of database indexes if needed.

- Add sorting on columns on data flow dashboard
- Change reason selection from a list to dropdown and change bg color for selected filter pills
- Remove reset state if no reason selected
- Validate and restrict propose edit of physical flow if spec id has multiple logical flows
- Approve/Reject screen will show a link to the person page on email id
- Edits on physical flow won't be allowed for propose data flow based workflows

Introduced a new Analytics dashboard (beta) that enables Waltz administrators to gain valuable insights into system usage statistics. This feature provides easy access to yearly and monthly statistics for key modules in Waltz, focusing on entity updates and overall engagement. The dashboard is designed to help admins better understand how Waltz is being used across the organization.
The Analytics dashboard displays the following usage metrics:
- Distinct users by year
- Number of hits across all pages/sections by year
- Number of edits across all pages/sections by year
- Breakdown of section usage
Others
- UI now displays the primary taxonomy flag for easier identification.
- Remediation of open-source software vulnerabilities for improved security.
- Enhanced validations related to assessments.
