Summary

  • bump iceberg-rust and related workspace git dependencies to fb290e4c9473b1fb4b582e9ac88a8fe08d2265ef
  • align the workspace toolchain and DataFusion trait usage needed for the new dependency set
  • align default parquet writer settings with Iceberg defaults by using 128 MiB row groups and ZSTD compression

Validation

  • make check
  • cargo clippy --workspace --all-targets -- -D warnings
  • cargo test -p iceberg-compaction-core test_execution_default_sets_max_row_group_bytes
