This repo hasn't received updates since November 2022, and the nightly CI fails on main branch. There does not seem to be a need to run CI nightly.

This seems fine to me to do for now.
It looks like the orb publishing process has changed but I'm not sure if there is enough interest in continuing to use CircleCI for the long term to warrant investing in upgrading. Some projects will continue to use CircleCI but probably don't need a newer version of the orb unless something breaks.
